Fifty years ago, 580 young men and women walked across the stage at Gary Roosevelt High School, carrying with them the hopes and dreams of a city and a country. They were the Mighty Panthers of the Class of 1976 -- the bicentennial class celebrating the 200th anniversary of America.
As graduates of Gary Roosevelt High School, they are alumni of an institution that holds a cherished place in history, having educated generations of leaders who have made a lasting impact in various fields. Our reunion is not just a gathering of classmates, but it is also a tribute to the legacy of excellence that Gary Rooosevelt High School represented.

Across the Lake
A 50th year class reunion is quite outstanding! That is why we are going to one of the most outstanding cities in America -- the City of Chicago. Famed for its bold architecture, museums, vibrant music scene, and high profile restaurants.
We'll be staying at the Sable Hotel in historic Hyde Park, near The University of Chicago. Our class Meet-up will be at the Promontory Point, a neighborhood destination live entertainment venue and events space.
On Saturday, we will be dining and celebrating at the prestigious Obama Presidental Center. . The Gary Roosevelt Class of 1976 will have the distinguished honor to be one of the first groups to celebrate in this historic space. It will be an extraordinary gala evening!
